Samsung introduced the ‘Note’ branding for smartphones with the launch of its iconic Galaxy Note lineup. On the other hand, Xiaomi made the Note branding a household name with its Redmi Note Series in the budget segment.
There are also other companies such as Micromax that have adapted the Note moniker. The latest offering from the device maker, the Micromax IN Note 1 will now be getting a Pro model.
As per tech influencer Mukul Sharma, Micromax’s upcoming phone will be called the Micromax IN Note 1 Pro. This device is expected to launch at the end of September.
Apart from the name of the device and its release timeline, Sharma does not reveal anything else about this device, but we know for a fact that it could be powered by a MediaTek Helio G90 SoC.
In related news, the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand realme may also introduce its own Note Series in the near future, these devices called the realme Note 9 and the realme Note 9 Prime may officially be released next year at around the same time as the realme 9 Series.
As mentioned in the beginning, only Samsung and Xiaomi have managed to be associated with the Note branding despite the existence of multiple devices with the Note moniker attached to them. We will have to wait and watch if Micromax and realme can do the same or not.
