Love in Disguise Episode 3: Why Would a Murder Suspect Visit His Alleged Victim?

Is it grief or a performance? The romance thriller Love in Disguise has released new stills ahead of Episode 3, and they raise a puzzling question: why would the prime suspect in a murder visit the victim’s remains? Yim Si Wan’s calm demeanour has left Seol In Ah’s undercover character, and viewers, completely baffled.

What Is Love in Disguise About?

Yoon Yi Jun (Yim Si Wan) is an arrogant chaebol heir who becomes a murder suspect. Kang Jae Hee (Seol In Ah), a former special forces officer, goes undercover as his personal secretary to investigate him. She does it by disguising herself as a man. If you like thriller romances with high stakes, this one has the right mix.

Where the Story Stands?

After an argument with his secretary Han Eun Young, Yi Jun finds himself at the centre of a murder case when she is found dead in his office. That makes him the prime suspect.

What stands out is his composure. He showed no signs of agitation during police questioning. When a detective pressed him, he questioned whether anyone really believed he’d killed her. He also asked Jae Hee whether she had ever killed anyone, which made things even more tense. His refusal to reveal his true intentions has viewers wondering what he is really thinking.

The Episode 3 Preview

The new stills show Yi Jun visiting the columbarium where Eun Young’s remains are kept. He stands before her urn and pays his respects with a calm expression.

For Jae Hee, with her investigative background, this is hard to make sense of. She struggles to understand why a murderer would honour his victim. The big question is whether this gesture is:

• Genuine grief, which would support his claim of innocence, or
• Something stranger, driven by the baffling psychology of a suspect.

The drama hasn’t answered this yet, which is exactly why Episode 3 is worth tuning in for.

Why You Should Watch?

A suspect who won’t explain himself, an investigator hiding her identity and a victim whose story is still unfolding make a gripping combination. The dual-identity setup gives every scene an extra layer of tension.

Fans can also watch Seol In Ah in Oh My Ghost Clients and Yim Si Wan in Boyhood on Viki while they wait.
