According to recent sources, HP will soon launch the Pavilion Aero series and will do so with impressive specifications, especially for a Pavilion-class product. It’s stated that this particular model will be the company’s lightest consumer laptop yet and will be just under 1 kg, as well as it will feature AMD Zen 3 CPUs up to the Ryzen 7 5800U.
And the company will not just be stopping at that the new HP system will also carry a 16:10 display with a 2.5k native resolution and 400 nits of brightness and full sRGB coverage. For now, we have no official details regarding the exact specifications, such as the dimensions and other design details.
All we know is that until now, we have only seen the Pavilion laptops to be generally thicker and less powerful than the pricier Envy or Spectre options. So, it’s quite surprising to see HP announce such lofty performance and size targets for its new 13.3-inch Pavilion Aero 13.
Rumours are also floating around that HP might also be planning to start producing the larger 15-inch Pavilion Aero 15 if the Pavilion Aero 13 proves to be popular with users. For now, the company has announced that the Pavilion Aero 13 will be available this July at HP.com for a starting price of USD 749.
Countries other than the US have to wait longer to get their hands on this model. HP also announced that a fully-loaded Ryzen 7 SKU might retail for closer to $1000.
