Many a time, the pack opening in FIFA 21 is compared to gambling as some players spend hundreds of coins to open packs in order to get the best players in-game. This resembles gambling to some extent, but EA Sports has always denied the fact. However, a doubt always remained in people’s mind.
Now, EA Sports has come up with an excellent idea. They have introduced Time-Limited FUT Preview Packs. They will be available in the FUT store during the Festival Of Futball promo.
The Time-Limited FUT Preview Packs will give you an option to look at all the players or consumables you’ll be getting from the pack even before buying with FIFA coins or FUT coins. That will be great as it will reduce the spending of unnecessary coins for opening packs.
EA Sports wrote in their official pitch note: “Starting June 18 at 16:00 UTC (09:00 PT) and running for the remainder of the Festival of FUTball, we’re introducing a new way for you to access Ultimate Team content; Preview Packs. These packs will allow you to see all the specific Items contained within them before you need to make a decision on whether you want to buy the pack with FUT Coins or FIFA Points. Preview Packs will be the only pack type available in the FUT Store during this time, at the end of the campaign other pack types will return.”
In simple words, you will have the option to look at the players and consumables present in the pack even before buying it. So, if you like the contents of the pack you can buy it or else return back. The Time-Limited FUT Preview Packs will have a timer, so if you decide not to buy it after previewing, you will have to wait till the refresh on the next day to preview the pack type once again.
In my opinion, this is an excellent addition to FUT packs. This eliminates the use of excessive FIFA coins and points to open packs. The Time-Limited FUT Preview Packs will definitely make the FIFA 21 experience more interesting.
