Some workplace retreats end with awkward team-building games. This one ends with an exorcism. CJ ENM has officially confirmed that filming has begun on “Jiangshi: Horror Workshop” (working title), a new comedy-horror film boasting a stacked ensemble cast including Ahn Jae Hong, Lee Da Hee, Yoon Kyung Ho, Kim Ji Eun, and Lee Hak Joo.
What’s The Film About?
The story follows employees of the fictional Dongbang Savings Bank who head off on a company workshop during a long holiday weekend — and accidentally awaken a jiangshi, a hopping corpse from Chinese folklore that’s been dormant for 400 years. What follows blends everyday office chaos with over-the-top exorcism action, giving the genre a distinctly workplace-comedy twist.
