Netflix’s “Take A Hike!” Teaser Sends Four Reluctant Stars Up a Brutal Winter Mountain

Four celebrities who’ve never cared for mountaineering are about to find out the hard way why people hike — and Netflix’s new teaser makes their struggle look every bit as grueling as it sounds.

Take A Hike!- Overview

The Premise: Involuntary Hikers, Voluntary Chaos

Take A Hike! follows four cast members with zero prior interest in mountaineering as they’re thrown into their first-ever midwinter expedition up a snow-covered peak. It’s less about expert outdoor skills and more about watching genuinely unprepared people navigate an extreme environment together.

Meet the Reluctant Climbers

The newly released teaser poster introduces each personality distinctly — Car the Garden, the eldest of the group, carries a notably solemn expression, while Dowoon brings a look of visible curiosity, Lee Chae Min stands out with his striking looks, and youngest member Tarzzan somehow keeps smiling despite the exhausting trek ahead.

What the Trailer Reveals

The footage doesn’t shy away from showing real struggle — Car the Garden appears visibly worn down, while the rest of the group reacts with genuine shock at just how difficult the climb turns out to be. That hardship is deliberately contrasted with sweeping shots of the winter mountain’s scenery, creating a push-and-pull between beauty and misery that sets the emotional tone for the series.

The Vision Behind the Show

Producer Park Hyun Yong explained that Korea’s winter mountains are uniquely brutal yet strikingly beautiful, and that the show is built around capturing authentic, unscripted dynamics as four people with no mountain experience are forced to rely on each other to get through it.
