Xiaomi has finally launched their budget RedmiBooks “Pro” with AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors in China, also launching the new Redmi Note 10 5G and Note 10 Pro 5G smartphones.
These laptops have already been launched with Intel chips earlier and now being launched with the latest AMD hardware. The RedmiBook Pro 14 features a 14-inch 2.5K Super Retina display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and supports 100% of the sRGB colour space.
Whereas, the RedmiBook Pro 15 comes with a 15.6-inch QHD+ Super Retina display with 3200×2000 pixels resolution, also supports 100% sRGB colour gamut and 178-degree wide viewing angle. Both laptops have a premium design as they are made up of an aluminium alloy chassis.
The laptops have got very thin bezels around the screen will enhance your viewing experience, whereas the backlit keyboard and built-in fingerprint reader will add extra smoothness and comfort during your busy days.
So, the new RedmiBook Pro 14 will feature either a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5500U or an 8-core Ryzen 7 5700U; this is paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB PCIe SSD. It weighs 1.42kg, has a battery capacity of 56Whr, is equipped with a 65W adapter, has dual USB-C ports and a dual USB-A interface.
The RedmiBook Pro 15 is a beefier laptop, powered by the new 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600H or an 8-core Ryzen 7 5800H processors, paired with 16 GB of RAM 512 GB PCIe SSD. So, the laptop performs up to 45W TDP as it has better cooling; it sports a 70Whr battery and is equipped with a 100W adapter, weighing just 1.8kg.

- RedmiBook Pro 14 Ryzen Edition with Ryzen 5 5500U is priced at 4299 yuan or US$672, and Ryzen 7 5700U is priced at 4699 yuan or US$735;
- RedmiBook Pro 15 Ryzen Edition Ryzen 5 5600H is priced at 4799 yuan or US$750, and R7 5800H is priced at 5299 yuan or US$829.
Both the laptops will be available in China from June 1st.
