Mom-to-Be Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Sweetest Birthday Surprise for Her ‘Favourite’ Friend

Some celebrations need no red carpet — just good friends, warm wishes, and a little glow of a recent career high. Samantha Ruth Prabhu proved exactly that this week.

Fresh off the success of her latest release, Samantha and husband Raj Nidimoru stepped out to celebrate a birthday close to their hearts — that of their friend, actor-director Rahul Ravindran.

A Birthday Wish Straight From the Heart

Taking to social media, Samantha shared a warm picture and penned a heartfelt note calling Rahul their “favourite,” adding that going by how many people adore him, he’s clearly everyone’s favourite too. Rahul reciprocated the love, posting pictures from the celebration where Samantha and Raj were seen bonding with his and Chinmayi’s children — a glimpse into a friendship that clearly goes beyond the camera.

Why This Moment Matters

Samantha’s personal celebration comes at a high point professionally. Her recent action-comedy has been pulling solid numbers at the box office, adding to a stretch of momentum that’s kept her in the spotlight for both her work and her warmth offscreen.

It’s this blend of personal warmth and professional success that keeps fans invested in Samantha’s journey — she’s not just an actor delivering hits, but someone whose real-life relationships feel just as genuine as her on-screen roles.
