Glowing in Yellow: Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Baby Shower Is a Masterclass in Quiet Tradition

Some celebrity milestones come with fireworks. Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s baby shower came with mantras instead — and honestly, it hit harder. On September 14, 2026, the mom-to-be marked her pregnancy with a traditional ceremony alongside husband Raj Nidimoru, choosing ritual over red carpet.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, one of South Indian cinema’s most followed actresses, has never shied from being candid with fans — and this celebration was no different. Dressed in yellow, she used the moment to reflect on something bigger than the photos themselves.

More Than Just a Photo Op

What made the post stand out wasn’t the styling — it was the sentiment. Samantha spoke about her respect for tradition, admitting she doesn’t always understand the meaning behind every ritual, but trusts the energy behind chanted mantras and practices passed down through generations. She also thanked those who created the ceremony’s sacred space, calling herself grateful for the mother she’s becoming.

The couple has kept most of their pregnancy journey low-key, save for a few glimpses — including babymoon photos and Samantha’s own admission that the pregnancy came as a joyful surprise while she was shooting a song for her last release.
