OTT Reference Table — Week of June 19, 2026

1. Drishyam 3 — Prime Video (June 18)

Director: Jeethu Joseph | Cast: Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Murali Gopy, Siddique

The most anticipated Malayalam OTT release of the season. Drishyam 3 picks up after the events of its predecessors, with Georgekutty and his family having reclaimed a fragile sense of peace. But buried secrets have a way of resurfacing — and as the past begins closing in from multiple directions, Georgekutty is pushed to his limits once again. If you’ve followed this franchise, prepare for the emotional payoff. This one leans harder into psychological tension and family drama than pure cat-and-mouse thrills, and Mohanlal is absolutely magnetic throughout. Don’t miss it.

2. Gu — ManoramaMAX (June 19)

Director: Manu Radhakrishnan | Cast: Saiju Kurup, Deva Nandha, Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju, Maniyanpilla Raju, Mohanlal (voice-only)

A refreshing departure from mainstream horror. Gu centres on two young cousins — eight-year-old Appu and his visiting cousin Minna — who get entangled in their family’s local folklore after a third cousin starts behaving strangely. Their childlike curiosity leads them to investigate the divine entity Gulikan, the mythological figure at the heart of the mystery. It’s a folklore-driven horror drama told through innocent eyes, which makes it both genuinely eerie and unexpectedly touching. Mohanlal’s voice-only appearance adds an intriguing layer.

3. Aashaan — SunNXT (June 19)

Director: Johnpaul George | Cast: Indrans, Joemon Jyothir, Shobi Thilakan, Madan Gowri

A love letter to cinema and the people obsessed with it. Aashaan follows Anantharaman, an aspiring VFX artist, and Aashaan, a passionate senior cinephile living in a unique circular apartment complex in Kochi. When a full 150-member film crew descends on the building to shoot a superstar’s film, their dreams of making it in the industry collide spectacularly with the often absurd realities of showbiz. Indrans, as always, is effortlessly charming. A warm, witty watch for anyone who loves films about film.

4. Athiradi — SonyLIV (June 19)

Director: Arun Anirudhan | Cast: Tovino Thomas, Basil Joseph, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Darshana Rajendran, Zarin Shihab

Pure, unfiltered fun. Athiradi follows Samkutty, a spirited engineering student on a mission to revive a long-banned college festival. His path crosses with Sreekuttan — an aspiring singer and reformed troublemaker — and what starts as a festival comeback quickly escalates into an ego-fuelled war between two equally stubborn personalities. Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph’s chemistry is the film’s biggest asset, and the Gen Z energy keeps things breezy and entertaining throughout.
