Vijay Deverakonda And Vikram Kumar: A Pan-Indian Collaboration In The Works?

Just when fans thought Vijay Deverakonda’s plate couldn’t get any fuller, a fresh report suggests he might be adding yet another exciting project to his lineup. This time, the buzz is around a potential collaboration with acclaimed director Vikram Kumar, and if true, it could be a massive deal for South Indian cinema.

What’s Vijay Deverakonda And Vikram Kumar Buzz About?

According to a report from Aakashavaani, Vijay Deverakonda and Vikram Kumar, best known for directing the sci-fi thriller “24,” are reportedly set to team up for a new film. What makes this even more exciting is the scale being discussed: the project is said to be backed by Maddock Films and could be envisioned as a pan-Indian venture, meaning it would target audiences across multiple language markets simultaneously.

It’s important to note this remains an unconfirmed report for now, with no official word from either Vijay Deverakonda’s team or Vikram Kumar.

What Else Is Vijay Deverakonda Up To?

This potential project would join an already packed schedule for the actor. He’s currently working on the period drama Ranabaali, where he co-stars alongside his wife, Rashmika Mandanna, marking their first on-screen pairing since their marriage. He’s also gearing up for the action entertainer Rowdy Janardhana, for which a fierce new look was recently unveiled.

Why This Pairing Could Be Big

Vikram Kumar has built a reputation for blending technical innovation with gripping storytelling, having helmed acclaimed projects across Telugu and Tamil cinema. Pairing his directorial sensibilities with Vijay Deverakonda’s mass appeal and growing pan-Indian fanbase could result in a genuinely ambitious project, especially with a production house like Maddock Films, known for backing high-concept, commercially successful films, reportedly involved.

For now, fans will have to wait for an official confirmation, but given how active Vijay Deverakonda’s career has been lately, an announcement may not be too far off.
