Red Velvet’s Joy and Kim Hyun Jin Become Each Other’s Biggest Fans in New Romance Drama

Red Velvet fans and romance drama lovers, get ready to feel all the warm fuzzies! On June 2, 2026, tvN and TVING unveiled the first poster for their upcoming webtoon-based series “One of a Kind Romance”, and the chemistry between Joy and Kim Hyun-jin already feels like a comforting hug.

In the drama, Joy plays Gong Yu-il, a relatable job seeker who dreams of living an ordinary life. She unexpectedly becomes the manager of Tak Mu-i (Kim Hyun-jin), a top star still carrying deep emotional scars from a past stalking incident. What starts as a chance meeting slowly turns into a beautiful “mutual-stanning” romance where they become each other’s biggest fans — healing old wounds while falling in love.

One of a Kind Romance: Overview

The new poster perfectly captures their vibe — both dressed in cozy casual outfits, sitting close on a sofa while holding the same book. The warm, soft atmosphere practically screams comfort. The production team shared, “Through their journey of healing each other’s emotional wounds, we hope to offer both comfort and heart-fluttering excitement.”

This sweet story joins the current drama wave we’ve been loving. It feels like a perfect follow-up to Kang Mina’s relatable office life in See You at Work Tomorrow, the chaotic island romance in Doctor on the Edge, and the intense kitchen tension in The Legend of Kitchen Soldier. While BTS celebrates 2026 FESTA and CORTIS keeps winning trophies, drama fans are truly being spoiled.
