Office romance K-dramas are a dime a dozen — but one set inside a corporate misconduct audit team? Now that’s a fresh angle. tvN’s brand-new romantic comedy Filing for Love premieres tonight, and its stellar cast has already given fans plenty of reasons to tune in.
What Is Filing for Love About?
The drama tells the story of Noh Ki Jun (Gong Myoung), the ace of a major corporation’s audit department, who is suddenly demoted to the team that handles internal misconduct. As a result, he winds up getting entangled with Joo In Ah (Shin Hae Sun), a tough and eccentric team leader who is hiding a secret.
Think workplace chaos meets slow-burn romance — with audit reports as the love language. If you enjoy K-dramas with workplace settings, this one belongs on your watchlist immediately.

What the Stars Are Saying
Shin Hae Sun remarked that viewers will find “a new and refreshing kind of fun” in the subject matter of workplace misconduct audits, encouraging fans to pay close attention to how characters with different agendas clash and become entangled within the audit department.
Gong Myoung confidently declared that “from the very first episode, the chemistry between Joo In Ah and Noh Ki Jun will be fun to watch,” adding that he paid close attention to his character’s clothing style, manner of speech, and facial expressions while preparing for the role.
Kim Jae Wook, who plays chaebol heir Jeon Jae Yeol, noted that “a wide variety of incidents unfold in every episode” and praised the drama for depicting realistic situations in an immersive way, adding that the fast-paced plot makes it very easy to get drawn in.
Hong Hwa Yeon, playing secretary Park Ah Jeong, teased that it would be fun to watch the drama while “pondering what kind of images Jeon Jae Yeol and Park Ah Jeong bring to mind,” noting she thought carefully about how to portray the character’s aloof yet lovable sides.
Why This Drama Could Be a Hit?
The romantic comedy genre thrives when it has a genuinely original premise — and an audit team as the setting is exactly the kind of left-field idea that separates memorable K-dramas from forgettable ones. Add in a chaebol heir, a secret-keeping team leader, and fast-paced episode structure, and Filing for Love has all the ingredients for a weekend binge.
