What Do the New Stills Reveal?

The newly released stills captivate with Jeon Jae Yeol’s charisma — wearing a clean-cut suit, he leisurely walks across the lobby, drawing attention. Despite always looking flawless, one still captures him looking plaintive, raising curiosity about his secret and how he will become intertwined with Joo In Ah and Noh Ki Joon.

That single plaintive expression does more storytelling than a whole episode of dialogue. This is why Kim Jae Wook is one of K-drama’s most magnetic actors.

What Does Kim Jae Wook Say About His Character?

The actor opened up about what drew him to the role — and his words are genuinely compelling.

Kim Jae Wook described Jeon Jae Yeol as “a figure with the heavy burden of having to lead a business,” adding that since he cannot show others that weight or the sharpness from fierce corporate succession competition, he always shows a leisurely and leader-like side — but is ultimately a lonely person who feels great deficiency and regret over a past decision. soompi

He also praised the script, calling it fast-paced and easy to read, and said the realistic incidents and relationships made it very immersive, with the two leads growing closer while doing their jobs feeling really charming. soompi

Why This Role Has Fans Already Invested

Kim Jae Wook has always excelled at playing men who wear composure like armour — and Jeon Jae Yeol is the ultimate version of that archetype. A chaebol heir burdened by succession, loneliness, and regret? That’s layered storytelling at its finest.
