Who is Praful Hinge? SRH’s New Pace Sensation Who Created IPL History in Just One Over

Cricket has a way of creating heroes overnight—and in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, one name has suddenly taken center stage: Praful Hinge.

On a night that began like any other, a young debutant from Vidarbha delivered six balls that changed everything—not just the match, but possibly his career forever.

Match-Winning Moment at a Glance

A Debut Straight Out of Dreams

It was just another powerplay over—until it wasn’t.

Opening the bowling for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Praful Hinge stunned everyone by dismantling the top order of Rajasthan Royals in his very first over.

• Vaibhav Sooryavanshi – out for a golden duck
• Dhruv Jurel – dismissed next
• Lhuan-dre Pretorius – gone soon after

Three wickets. Six balls. Pure chaos.

In fact, Hinge became the first bowler in IPL history to take three wickets in his debut over, leaving RR reeling at 1/3 early in the innings.

So, who exactly is Praful Hinge?

• A right-arm medium-fast bowler from Vidarbha

His journey hasn’t been overnight. From training rigorously as a teenager to performing in domestic tournaments, Hinge steadily built his reputation before grabbing this golden opportunity.

Why This Spell Is So Special

What makes it even more remarkable:

• Pressure of debut match

This wasn’t just skill—it was composure beyond his years.

• New stars can rise anytime
• One over can change the match
• Unknown players can become household names overnight
