Salman Khan Shuts Down Trolls With the Most Desi Reality Check for Rajpal Yadav

Bollywood’s Bhaijaan just proved why he’s more than just a superstar — he’s the big brother everyone needs.

When comedian and character actor Rajpal Yadav was publicly mocked at a high-profile Mumbai award show, the internet piled on fast. But Salman Khan wasn’t having any of it. The Maatrubhumi star took to X (formerly Twitter) with a heartfelt message that quickly went viral — and honestly, it hit different.

What Actually Happened?

At the star-studded event, Rajpal made a lighthearted remark about global unrest and the rupee-dollar fluctuation. Journalist and event host Saurabh Dwivedi interrupted him mid-sentence with a sharp jab referencing his reported financial debt, making the moment awkward and public.

Rajpal stayed composed, smiling through it. But the internet didn’t hold back — and neither did Salman.

Salman Khan’s Message: Straight From the Heart

Salman posted a warm note on X, reminding Rajpal of his 30-year legacy in Hindi cinema and his consistent value as a performer. The superstar made it clear that Rajpal’s work speaks for itself — and that the dollar rate is irrelevant when your craft earns you respect.

Salman’s post is a masterclass in how social media can be used to uplift rather than destroy — a rare sight in today’s cancel culture climate.

Why This Moment Matters

Rajpal Yadav has been a staple of Bollywood comedy for three decades. From Chup Chup Ke to Bhool Bhulaiyaa to the upcoming Bhooth Bangla, he’s been cast repeatedly by the industry’s biggest names — including Salman himself. That’s not charity. That’s talent.

Salman’s public backing also tells us something about the toxic side of trolling culture — where personal financial struggles become public entertainment. A little empathy goes a long way.
