Bhooth Bangla — The Reunion We’ve Been Waiting For

Fans of classic Bollywood horror-comedy have been waiting years for this one. Bhooth Bangla brings back the iconic Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan duo, nearly two decades after they delivered Bhool Bhulaiyaa in 2007. The nostalgia factor alone is massive.

In this fantasy horror comedy, Akshay steps into the shoes of a ghostbuster, joined by a stellar ensemble including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film carries the DNA of the good old Priyadarshan madness — slapstick, spooks, and solid entertainment for the entire family.

Two songs are already out — Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge and Tu Hi Disda — and both have built solid anticipation. This one looks like a complete paisa-vasool theatrical experience.

Dacoit — Love, Betrayal, and Raw Revenge

On the grittier side of things, Dacoit tells the story of Hari and Juliet — two lovers dreaming of a happy future — until a betrayal lands Hari behind bars. What follows is a revenge saga soaked in rage, action, and emotional drama.

The film features Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur in the lead, with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in a pivotal acting role. Directed by Shaneil Deo, this bilingual release is built for audiences who love raw, intense storytelling on the big screen. Think Bollywood action cinema at its most visceral.

Which One Should You Watch?

Honestly? Both films cater to completely different moods. Take the family for Bhooth Bangla’s laughs and scares, then catch Dacoit for something more intense. It’s a solid double-feature week for Hindi cinema.
