Bhooth Bangla: Everything You Need to Know

Akshay & Priyadarshan — A Reunion Worth Celebrating

If you grew up watching Hera Pheri or Hungama, you already know the magic that Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan create together. Bhooth Bangla marks their much-anticipated reunion, and the makers have been building momentum smartly. The first song, Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, composed by Pritam and sung by Armaan Malik, became a chartbuster almost instantly after release.

The teaser dropped on March 12, featuring Akshay in a spooky new look — dangling in a motion poster with a playful caption that said “Just hangin’ around.” The team has confirmed that the full trailer will roll out digitally first, followed by a theatrical attachment with Dhurandhar 2 starting March 19. As an insider revealed, the strategy is intentional — the target audiences overlap significantly, and the scale of Dhurandhar 2 provides the perfect launchpad.

This kind of horror-comedy genre blending has always resonated deeply with Indian audiences, and given the powerhouse ensemble — including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rajpal Yadav, and Asrani — expectations are sky-high.
