Akanksha Chamola’s Bold Response to Marriage Trolls After Gaurav Khanna’s BB19 Win

After her husband Gaurav Khanna won Bigg Boss 19, actress Akanksha Chamola found herself facing unexpected online scrutiny. Instead of celebrating the victory, she became the target of trolls questioning her professional dance videos and marriage. Now, she’s fighting back with a powerful message about double standards.

Akanksha Chamola’s Controversy at a Glance

Breaking the Silence

Akanksha shared an Instagram video by influencer Jayati Unscripted that called out the hypocrisy. The influencer questioned why Gaurav’s intimate scenes in Anupamaa never raised eyebrows, but Akanksha simply doing her job as an actress faces backlash. “This is feminine energy at its peak,” Akanksha captioned the post.

The Double Standard Exposed

The actress faced criticism for promotional dance videos with co-stars Kunwar Amar and Ali Hasan, and another with choreographer Awez Darbar. Critics questioned her loyalty despite Gaurav’s reality show victory. Earlier, Akanksha had already stated, “Being married and not cheating is basic,” emphasizing that faithfulness is the bare minimum, not an achievement.

What’s Next for the Couple?

While dealing with unnecessary drama, Akanksha is focused on her upcoming web series Dil Dhokha Aur Desire, streaming from February 12 on ShemarooMe. Meanwhile, Gaurav Khanna continues basking in his Bigg Boss 19 glory, having defeated Farrhana Bhatt in the December 2025 finale.
