Asus ROG Phone 5 is scheduled to launch on 10th March 2021. This will be the latest flagship gaming smartphone from the house of Asus. A new report has surfaced online just before a week of its launch. This report tells us that Asus ROG Phone 5 has been spotted on Geekbench with a whopping RAM of 18 GB.
The Taiwan-based smartphone company is all ready to unveil its new device in many markets including the Indian market. The pre-order for this gaming device has already started in China on the website JD.com. The high interaction on the website tells us the demand for this upcoming device. Though, it does not tell much about the details of the handset.
Asus ROG Phone 5 will flaunt a 6.78-inch AMOLED type screen with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It will also have a high refresh rate of 144Hz. On the backside, we can spot a triple-camera set up including a 64 MP Primary Camera along with a 16 MP Ultra-wide Angle Camera and an 8 MP Telephoto Camera. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The device will house a massive 6000mAh battery cell and will be paired with 65W Fast Charging ability. Other features of the smartphone include Bluetooth v5.1, Mobile Hotspot, 5G & 4GVoLTE networks, A-GPS Glonass, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C charging.
Asus ROG Phone 5 scored 1,113 points in single-core and 3,468 points in multi-core tests. The smartphone will run on Android 11 OS out of the box. Apart from the 18 GB RAM variant, we also expect to see a 16GB RAM variant along with 256GB of internal storage.
