Quite expectedly, AMD’s upcoming Cezanne APU is now being sold on eBay after making a series of appearance last month. This gave us a false assumption that AMD could launch its Cezanne APUs for desktops at CES 2021 but that didn’t happen.
The exact APU was spotted last month with OPN code of 100-000000263, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads along with 4.4 GHz boost clock speeds. The Cezanne APU for laptops have already been launched, so Ryzen 5000 series APUs for desktop processors is already a possibility.
The seller that posted the APU on eBay has mentioned that GPU drivers for the integrated Radeon Vega graphics were originally not available but it is reported that drivers have become available to the seller, so anyone buying it will be able to use it.
Another interesting fact is that the seller posted the same CPU-Z screenshot that was leaked last month, confirming the fact that the Ryzen 7 5700G is real with the same OPN code. The seller even claims that the data is from his own buyers, which confirms that the same source has leaked the APU earlier.
With so much progress in February itself, most probably we could see AMD launched the Ryzen 5000 series APUs, however, whether it will be available for normal consumers also remains the main question.
