Samsung’s next-generation flagship laptop has surfaced on Geekbench, revealing impressive specifications. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro features Intel’s upcoming Core Ultra 5 338H processor from the Panther Lake family, paired with 32GB of RAM, marking a significant upgrade in performance and efficiency for Samsung’s premium laptop lineup.

Intel’s Panther Lake Architecture Powers Performance

The Core Ultra 5 338H uses a 12-core design with 4 performance cores, 4 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power cores running at a base frequency of 1.9GHz. This architectural improvement promises better battery life than current Galaxy Book 5 series models, which use Intel’s Lunar Lake processors.

Impressive AI Benchmark Scores

In Geekbench AI tests, the laptop scored 4,136 in single-precision, 1,764 in half-precision, and 7,612 points in quantized tests. The Core Ultra 5 338H easily outperforms even the Core Ultra 9 288V in Geekbench AI 1.4.0 benchmark, aided by the 32GB RAM configuration.

Galaxy Book 6 Ultra Also in Development

Beyond the Pro model, Samsung is working on a Galaxy Book 6 Ultra featuring Intel’s Arrow Lake-H series CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPU. This brings back the “Ultra” designation after its absence from the Galaxy Book 5 lineup, targeting power users, creators, and professionals demanding serious GPU performance.

Enhanced Battery Capacity Expected

Both 14-inch and 16-inch Galaxy Book 6 Pro models will feature larger battery packs than their Galaxy Book 5 Pro predecessors. Combined with Panther Lake’s improved efficiency, users can expect significantly extended battery life for productivity tasks.

CES 2026 Launch Anticipated

Samsung is expected to present Galaxy Book 6 laptops in January during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The timing aligns with Intel’s Panther Lake chip rollout, positioning Samsung among the first manufacturers to adopt the new processor architecture.

The Galaxy Book series has followed Intel’s processor generations annually: Tiger Lake (2021), Alder Lake (2022), Raptor Lake (2023), Meteor Lake (2024), Lunar Lake (2025), and now Panther Lake for 2026.

The Galaxy Book 6 Pro represents Samsung’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge performance and efficiency in premium Windows laptops, backed by Intel’s latest silicon innovations.
