There has been a lot of criticisms about the availability of the new Zen 3 based AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors and of course about the launch of only the high-end processors only. This is understandable as AMD is short on the stock from TSMC but they have to continue launching new products.
Hopefully, AMD is hiding the budget-end CPUs to counter Intel, until the blue team launches the Rocket Lake-S desktop CPUs in March. But until then you are stuck with two Ryzen 9s that are way beyond anyone’s budget and there are two CPUs you can get namely – the Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 7 5800X.
Both are best CPUs in their perspectives but the prices until now were that bad I couldn’t possibly recommend it. But now they are available in adequate stocks and you can get them with various offers on Amazon including one-day delivery.

This is the best 6 core CPU I’ve ever tested and using it for a month now, I realized it is a good deal considering the other Ryzen 5000 series processors. If properly cooled and overclocked it can beat the previous AMD 8 core CPUs as well, but it is on the slight premium side so you can either wait for the Ryzen 5 5600 or go with this one if you the “best gaming CPU” at budget.

Did buy the CPU from Amazon and is currently using, but it hurts to say the CPU is kind of overpriced by AMD themselves. Indeed it is the fastest 8 core desktop CPU now, but if you genuinely need it for the best gaming experience, only you should go or else at this price get the Ryzen 9 3900XT, want to check out the CPU’s review? Head back here soon.
