Revolutionary Eye Protection Technology
The X300 series debuts with dual solutions for dimming—2160Hz full-brightness high-frequency PWM and full-brightness DC. Users can switch between the two modes based on preference, with both effectively reducing flicker-induced eye strain. This represents a significant advancement in smartphone display comfort.
The hardware-level 1 nit low brightness technology is particularly notable, as it can go as low as 1 nit brightness, making it more eye-friendly and comfortable in extreme night conditions compared to software-based dimming solutions.
Ultra-Thin Bezel Innovation
The vivo executive noted that the X300 series uses LIPO technology and BOE’s Q10 Plus panel to reduce the bezel size. According to Boxiao, the bezels on the X300 series are the slimmest ever on a vivo smartphone. This LIPO (Lens-In-Panel-Only) technology allows for more screen real estate without increasing overall device dimensions.
Technical Advantages
The BOE Q10 Plus substrate brings several improvements over standard OLED panels:
- 8T LTPO Architecture: Enhanced power efficiency with variable refresh rates
- Zeiss Color Calibration: Professional-grade color accuracy
- Full Screen AOD: Always-on display functionality
- Ultrasonic Fingerprint 2.0: Enhanced security and speed
Market Positioning & Competition
The X300 series targets flagship smartphone users who prioritize display quality and eye comfort. With features like hardware-level 1 nit brightness and dual dimming modes, vivo is positioning these devices against premium offerings from Samsung, Apple, and OnePlus.
For consumers interested in display technology advances, the BOE Q10 Plus panel represents meaningful improvements in both visual quality and user comfort, particularly for extended usage scenarios.
Launch Timeline & Availability
The Vivo X300 series launch date in China could take place on October 13, 2025. The line-up will include the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Global availability typically follows China launches by several months, with India and European markets expected in early 2026.
The combination of advanced display technology, camera improvements, and MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor positions the X300 series as a comprehensive flagship offering rather than focusing solely on display innovations.
