7 Dogs OTT Release Date: Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt Join a Global Action Spectacle

The 7 Dogs OTT release date has done exactly what a good trailer should — it’s got everyone talking. The movie premiered in the Middle East on May 27, 2026, and was released in Indian cinemas in Hindi and English on August 21, 2026. Packed with explosions, globe-trotting chases, and a cast list that reads like a Marvel roster, the footage confirms that this is not your average action film. It’s an experiment: Egyptian superstars, Bollywood legends, and Hollywood names, all in one high-octane package, directed by the duo behind Bad Boys for Life and Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

For Indian audiences, the big hook is unmistakable — Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt sharing screen space again, more than two decades after their earlier collaborations. Fans have been dissecting every second of their brief but loaded appearances, and the reunion alone has pushed the trailer to the top of entertainment conversations this week.

7 Dogs OTT Release Date: What’s the Story?

At its core, 7 Dogs follows Khalid Al-Azzazi, an Interpol officer played by Ahmed Ezz, who once captured Ghali Abu Dawood (Karim Abdel Aziz), a senior figure in the shadowy “7 Dogs” crime syndicate. A year later, the syndicate resurfaces, smuggling a dangerous new drug called Pink Lady across the Middle East. With no better option, Khalid is forced into an uneasy alliance with his former captive to take the network down — cue a mission that spans multiple countries and doesn’t let up.

Why the Buzz Is Real

This isn’t just marketing hype. 7 Dogs already proved itself at the Middle East box office, crossing $7 million in its opening weekend and setting a new Egyptian box office record with over 912,000 tickets sold in its first week alone. That track record has raised expectations for the Indian release, especially with Salman Khan seen by many as due for a big theatrical comeback.

Adding to the appeal is the action pedigree behind the camera. The team that engineered the stunts for the John Wick saga and Mad Max: Fury Road worked on this film’s set pieces, which explains why the trailer’s chase sequences and hand-to-hand combat look so polished.

The Takeaway

The 7 Dogs OTT release has managed something rare: it bridges Bollywood nostalgia, Egyptian star power, and Hollywood-grade action craft in a single two-minute cut. With its India release set for 21 August in both Hindi and English, audiences won’t have long to wait to see if the film lives up to the trailer’s promise.
