Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro launched in China

Vivo officially launched the Vivo X80 Series in China earlier today. The lineup has two devices, the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro. The devices will launch globally on the 8th of May. Let us take a look at the specs of these devices.

Vivo X80 Specifications:

The Vivo X80 features a 6.78″ AMOLED E5 display with a Full HD+ resolution. It arrives with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and packs a 4,500mAh battery with 80W charging support.

In terms of optics, there is a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX886 primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. On the front, it has a 44MP selfie shooter.

The Vivo X80 features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device is priced at CNY 3,699 or 43,250 INR for the 8GB+128GB version while the 12GB+512GB version retails for CNY 4,899 or 57,300 INR. The device will be available in Black, Blue, and Orange colors.

Vivo X80 Pro specifications:

The Vivo X80 Pro has a curved display with a hole-punch display. It has a 6.78″ AMOLED E5 LTPO display. The device can automatically adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz refresh rates. It runs on a Quad-HD+ resolution. In terms of biometrics, the device has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The X80 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip, you also get an option to purchase the device with the MediaTek Dimesnity 9000 chip. It has been paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 12 OS by default and is juiced by a 4,700mAh battery with 80W wired charging support and 50W wireless charging support.

In the optics department, the X80 Pro has a 44MP primary sensor on the front, on the rear, it has a 50MP Samsung GNV primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide angle sensor, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.

The X80 Pro supports dual-SIM, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5,2, GPS, NFC, X-axis linear motor, and dual-stereo speakers.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 powered variant costs CNY 5,499 or 64,300 INR(8GB+256GB). The Dimensity 9000 variant will be priced at CNY 5,999 or 70,150 INR(12GB+256GB).
