Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) devs over at Krafton have tried to keep the game bug-free and more optimized ever since its initial release. The company has now launched a new update for the game. This update brings in fixes for multiple issues that the players are facing now.

As per the official patch notes, the latest update brings a highly-demanded fix for speed issues that players face after jumping off the Nimbus Island. This is a big one that allowed players to move faster than they should after abusing a glitch spot to jump off the Island. Krafton has confirmed that this glitch has now been fixed.

This patch also brings in a new fix for the issue where other players’ sensitivity codes will not be applied. These codes usually let players share their custom sensitivity settings for the camera, Aim Down Sight (ADS), and gyroscope with others. Apart from this, the last gameplay-related patch that comes with this update fixes the issue where players were not able to see through the scope when the Christmas-themed Merry Tidings skin was equipped to their UZI.

Krafton, in a different patch note, has also stated that it has fixed an issue with a premium crate that offers an unintended item along with guaranteed rewards while opening the crate 10, 20, or 30 times.

Krafton has recently announced that they have banned over 66,000 accounts for cheating in the last week of March. Players have mentioned that cheaters are getting banned at an all-time high rate in comparison to previous months.

This is likely because of the improvements made in the Anti-cheat system of the game. The game also encourages players to report any suspicious activity that they come across. If the anti-cheat engine flags and bans an account that you have reported, the game rewards you with a ‘Ban Pan’ skin for the iconic Pan.
