Valley of Memory: New Story Chapter
Set just before the main game’s finale, this expansion takes Basim and companion Dervis to AlUla, an ancient valley rich with history from the Abbasid Empire’s Golden Age. Players will uncover family secrets about Basim’s long-lost father while confronting a ruthless gang threatening the valley’s peace.
The breathtaking new region features diverse landscapes—from stunning deserts to hidden oases—all meticulously recreated as they appeared in the ninth century.

Revolutionary Parkour Changes
Ubisoft is introducing manual jumping, allowing players to toggle free-running sequences previously impossible in the game. The enhanced control scheme smooths rooftop navigation, while customizable side and back ejects now work regardless of landing spots—no more waiting for clear handholds.
These changes address community requests and enable more creative parkour than ever before in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Mission Replay and Challenges
All black box missions and contracts become replayable through the new “Animus Sequences” section, each offering distinct challenges like avoiding Eagle Vision, remaining undetected, or completing time trials. Completing these unlocks exclusive rewards, including color filters inspired by classic Assassin’s Creed games.
Check out the official Ubisoft website for more details on upcoming features.
New Difficulty Options and Customization
Two additional difficulty presets join the lineup: Hardened and Ultimate Assassin. Players can also fully customize their experience with a comprehensive range of options. The update adds Engineer 2 skill for equipping all level 1 tool modifications, plus new level 3 upgrades for every tool.

Why This Update Matters
This free expansion demonstrates Ubisoft’s commitment to the franchise two years post-launch. The Valley of Memory was reportedly funded through partnership with Saudi Arabia’s Savvy Games Group, though Ubisoft maintains full creative control over the content.
