Young players are one of the most exciting parts about football, and every year we see players break into the scene. So, here are the 10 forwards in the game you should keep an eye on.

Folarin Balogun

Balogun recently signed a new contract with Arsenal and was promoted from their youth team to their first team. The striker could really make a name for himself if given a chance in the team, on the back of his brilliance for the B team.

Patson Daka

Daka was recruited by Leicester City this summer from RB Salzburg and the player is being linked as the heir to Jamie Vardy. The player had a brilliant scoring record in Austria and has a great chance to make a name for himself in England.

Timothy Weah

Son of George Weah, Timothy Weah features for Lille and won the Ligue 1 title with Lille last season. He only scored three goals but showed flashes of brilliance on the pitch and can become a regular with consistent results.

Brian Brobbey

Bobbey recently made the move to RB Leipzig after coming through the Ajax academy and is one of the most exciting young talents in Germany. He only got 432 minutes of action in 19 games across all competitions. But, Brobbey chipped in with six goals, averaging a goal every 72 minutes.

Myron Boadu

After scoring 15 goals last season Myron Boadu is starting to attract interest from several big clubs across Europe. He is one of the main forwards for Dutch club AZ Alkmaar and has the talent needed to play at a top club.

Youssoufa Moukoko

Moukoko became the youngest goalscorer in the Bundesliga last season, and also became the youngest player to appear in the Champions League. Still a teenager, he has a lot of time to grow into a first-team staple for Dortmund but his maturity could really start to show this term.

Pedro Neto

Neto is one of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League, and is emerging as the star of the Wolves frontline now. A skilled dribbler, Neto is a key player on the flanks for the team but will have to wait his turn to appear this season due to injury.

Dwight McNeil

Dwight McNeil is the star of the Burnley attack and like Pedro Neto, is a skilled dribbler who likes to wreak havoc on opposition defenders. The player could make a big name for himself this year as the focus of the Burnley attack.

Antony was a part of the Brazil squad that won the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and scored double his xG last year, with 9 goals from 32 league games. He recently signed for Ajax and is in great hands to develop further.

Dusan Vlahovic

Coming off his most prolific season for Fiorentina so far, Vlahovic scored 21 goals for the club last season and surpassed his xG of 19. He has already started attracting a lot of interest from the best clubs in Europe.
