After launching the Spark 7 series handsets in India, Tecno is now gearing up to launch Camon 17 series in the country. The Camon 17 series consists of two handsets – Camon 17, and Camon 17 Pro. A page has been created for the Tecno Camon 17 series and is already live on Amazon India, so these handsets will be exclusively be sold via Amazon.
The brand is yet to reveal the Camon 17 series launch date, but the micro-site reveals that these will be available during the upcoming Prime Days sale. Both these handsets are already available in some markets, so the specifications of these handsets are already known. Tecno Camon 17 specifications
The Tecno Camon 17 is a slightly toned-down version of the Camon 17 Pro. The smartphone features a big 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. Additionally, the display comes with a fast refresh rate of 90Hz alongside a punch-hole display design at the front.
For photos and videos, the Camon 17 features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 16-megapixel secondary sensor. Additionally, there is also a third 2-megapixel sensor in the setup. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. When it comes to software, the Tecno Camon 17 will run on Android 11 with the HiOS custom skin on top. The Tecno Camon 17 packs a large 5000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support. We can also see a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The more premium Camon 17 Pro features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ LED display. Additionally, here we can see a 90Hz fast refresh rate as well alongside a peak brightness of 500 nits. Moreover, the Pro variant comes with a rear punch-hole design as well.
For photos and videos, the Tecno Camon 17 Pro features a quad rear camera setup. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megpaixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, we can also see two 2-megapixel sensors in the setup. These sensors are for macro and depth shots, respectively. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 48-megapixel selfie shooter.
On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the more powerful MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. The octa-core chipset is paired with the Mali-G76 GPU. Additionally, the processor comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Also, the device runs on Android 11 with the HiOS custom skin on top like the vanilla variant. Lastly, the handset packs a similar 5000mAh battery along with 25W fast charging support.
