Samsung brings new High-Resolution 2021 Monitors with HDR10 support

The South Korean giant has recently announced a wide range of high-resolution desktop monitors with HDR10 support. Obviously, Samsung is one of the best display manufacturers and so its new monitors will deliver life-like picture quality and enhanced convenience with advanced ergonomic design.

Literally, Samsung has launched a dozen high-resolution monitors across three series – the S8, S7 and S6. The common thing between them is that they deliver more than 1 billion colours for a vivid and vibrant image and provide support to HDR 10 technology.

These displays come with a 178-degree wide viewing angle designed for professional work environments. Interestingly, Samsung has made all of these monitors Intelligent Eye Care certified from TÜV Rheinland.

In contrast, the Adaptive Picture eye care technology used helps optimize picture quality for any viewing environment by automatically adjusting brightness and colour temperature in response to room conditions.

In this technological era, it is good to see Samsung using the eye-saver mode to reduce blue light emissions, which can cause eye strain, and Flicker-Free, protecting the user’s eyes from any flickering on the screen. With the Eco Saving Plus technology, Samsung promises up to 10% of lesser power consumption.

The Samsung S8 series of monitors are the flagship models coming in with 27- and 32-inch options and is supposed to be packed with key features for both businesses and creative professionals. Being the flagship monitor, it comes with Ultra-High Definition (UHD) resolution and also delivers a 99% sRGB colour gamut.

Being a productivity-centric monitor, it also gives you the option of 10Gbps data transmission through its USB-C type port, as well as offering up to 90W charging. Other connectivity features include USB 3.0 and a USB hub, and the S8 series come with a flat borderless design for the best dual-monitor setups.

You also have both VESA compatibility Height Adjustable Stand gives you the option of tilt, swivel and pivot control points and then there’s the slim metal stand and narrow depth also take up less desk space for a cleaner, seamless work setup.

Coming to the Samsung S7 & S6 series, the S7 series has a lot of similarity with the S8, delivering UHD resolution in 27- and 32-inch sizes. It also features an ultra-slim stand, 178-degree wide viewing angle panel and vibrant colour gamut, also you have a virtually borderless design, supported by a convenient tilting function.

The budget S6 series comes in various screen sizes: 34-, 32-, 27- and 24-inch with QHD (2,560×1,440) resolution. It also offers PBP (Picture By Picture) and PIP (Picture In Picture) features as well as uses Daisy Chain technology, allowing extended multiple screen and screen reproduction.

The S6 series also has RJ45 compatibility and Built-in Wake On Lan (WOL) functionality that helps you to to use the connected computer remotely from another device.

On the other hand, the Samsung S65UA comes in Ultra-Wide Quad High-Definition (UWQHD) and is the only monitor in the lineup to feature 1000R curvature and enhancing productivity with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
