‘Nomadland’, ‘Borat’ Sequel won the Top Film Honors in Golden Globes 2021 Award Ceremony

This year the ceremony of Golden Globes awards was organized in a little different way due to the terrible pandemic situation, but those obstacles were not able to stop Hollywood from organizing the best of movie and television from the past years.

In this ceremony, the incredible road drama “Nomadland” and the funniest prank comedy “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” were collected the top prizes of the movie at the 78th Golden Globe Awards the last Sunday. A large virtual ceremony was organized that is co-hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who were on the opposite sides of the country.

The filmmaker of the “Nomadland” Chloe Zhao became the only second woman to conquer the directing award, nearly 40 years after the Barbra Streisand that was identified for  “Yentl.” Zhao, who is a Chines woman, becomes the first woman of color to triumph in that genre.

In the remote location speech, Zhao has depicted the celebrated movie as “a pilgrimage through grief and healing.”

She was also told that for everyone who had gone through this difficult and beautiful journey to some extent in their daily lives. They didn’t say goodbye. They were only said to see you sown the road.

An incredible sequel to the cult classic of the bush era that was triumphed in the best musical and comedy movie genre. The film star Sacha Baron was won the best comedy actor and also jokingly dedicated his prize to Rudy Giuliani,

He also was said to the former New York City mayor as a fresh new talent who had come from nowhere and that was turned into be a comedy genius.

On that most emotional night, Chadwick Boseman’s Widow was accepted his posthumous award for the best actor in a drama movie for “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” after his death of six months at an age of 43. Taylor Simone Ledward was also told that He would give a  thank you the God and his parents. He also would give a thank to his ancestors for all their sacrifices and guidance.

The award for the best drama series was won by the glossy royalty saga “The Crown” with also the acting honors for Josh O’Connor(Prince Charles), Emma Cortin(Princess Diana), and Gillian Anderson(Margaret Thatcher). The award for the best-limited series and the best actress was won by “The Queen’s Gambit” a category for the rising star Anya Taylor-Joy.

The best comedy series award was won by “Schitt Creek” which is a warm-hearted Canadian Series that was got a huge response from the audience.  The comedian actress O’Hara also took the best actress award in a comedy series.

The best actor award was also won by Jason Sudeikis for his role in the Apple TV Plus hit “Ted Lasso”, that was explored the more relative informal spirit of the virtual show and accepted his trophy.
