The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 12GB GDDR6X memory could launch in April

NVIDIA is always up to bringing new GPUs, especially after launching the RTX 30-series GPUs; however, none of them is in ample stocks. This is mainly because of the competition it is getting this time from AMD, not only in terms of Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs but also in the form of new gaming consoles.

The graphics giant is desperate to bring new GPUs anytime soon, especially the Ti variants of RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 to provide more options to consumers. Obviously, AMD’s next move and availability will decide when NVIDIA will reveal its arsenal of GPUs.

In the meantime, a new rumour has emerged that suggests that NVIDIA is most likely to launch the RTX 3080 Ti in April as per the prolific tipster @kopite7kimi.

Previously it was speculated that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will come with 20GB VRAM, however, now it seems the GPU will feature 12GB GDDR6X memory with a 384-bit memory bus architecture.

The GPU is supposed to feature 10240 CUDA cores, which means that the RTX 3080 Ti could offer 80 Streaming Multiprocessors, 12 more than the RTX 3080 while 2 fewer than the flagship RTX 3090.

Though the card is said to provide almost similar performance to that of the RTX 3090, it totally depends on the clock speeds and the TDP consumed by the GPU. Most probably the GPU could make its way in April, and if it does so, we will be knowing it even before it comes out.
