Having spotted a lot of Cezanne APUs earlier we know that AMD will be launching them both for mobile and desktop at CES 2021. A few days ago Ryzen 7 5700G was spotted on USB-IF site confirming its presence.

Now, to take this even further the Zen 3 based APU has been tested and seen mentioned on the Chinese social media platform. It is codenamed as 100-000000263, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads along with 4.4 GHz boost clock speeds.

It is indeed a 7nm based Zen 3 chip and the leaker says it might be either Ryzen 7 5700G or 5750G. Although not tested on any traditional benchmark software, but the leaker somehow managed to get the CPU-Z benchmark of the APU.

It scored a handsome 613.6 points in single-threaded benchmark and 6292.2 points in multi-threaded tests. Compared to the predecessor Zen 2 CPU, the Ryzen 7 3700X, the upcoming APU is much faster than you could have expected.

It seems the Zen 3 based APU is 20% and 16% faster respectively even though it goes up to 4.4 GHz only, thanks to the architectural improvement of Zen 3. As per the leaker, the flagship APU will cost just 1888 Yuans (or 296 USD) when bought in bulk.

The good thing about any Ryzen CPU or APU is that they are overclockable and so is this one, up to 4.7GHz. So, when overclocked, it scores 647.4 points in single-threaded benchmark and a whopping 6960 points in multi-core tests, pretty impressive figures I would say.
