AMD’s Unreleased Radeon RX 7300 Gets Support in AIDA64: New Entry-Level RDNA 3 GPU on the Horizon?

AMD fans and PC builders, get ready for some exciting news! The unreleased Radeon RX 7300 graphics card has just been spotted in the latest update of AIDA64, a popular hardware monitoring software. This unexpected addition hints that AMD might still be gearing up to launch new entry-level RDNA 3 GPUs, despite no official announcement yet.

What Does AIDA64’s Update Reveal About the Radeon RX 7300?

AIDA64 Extreme’s beta version 7.65.7415 recently added support for the Radeon RX 7300, listing it under the “NAVI 33” GPU family. This confirms earlier leaks and rumors that AMD has been working on this GPU behind the scenes. The RX 7300 is expected to be part of AMD’s RX 7000 series, targeting budget-conscious users who want solid performance without breaking the bank.

Why Is the RX 7300 Important for AMD’s Lineup?

AMD’s RX 7000 series has so far focused on mid-range to high-end GPUs, but the absence of entry-level options like the RX 7300 and RX 7400 left a gap in the market. The RX 7300 could fill this niche, offering an affordable solution for everyday computing, light gaming, and multi-monitor setups without needing external power connectors.

Expected Specs and Performance

While official specs are still under wraps, leaks suggest the RX 7300 will feature between 640 to 896 stream processors, paired with 4GB or 6GB of VRAM on a 64-bit or 96-bit memory bus. Pricing is rumored to fall between $100 and $130, making it an attractive choice for budget builds. This GPU would be ideal for users who want reliable performance for productivity tasks and casual gaming.

What About the RX 7400 and Future RDNA 4 GPUs?

The RX 7400, another rumored entry-level RDNA 3 GPU, remains unconfirmed but is expected to offer slightly higher specs, possibly with 6GB VRAM and more stream processors. Meanwhile, AMD’s next-generation RDNA 4 architecture is already making waves with the RX 9000 series, but no entry-level models from this lineup have been announced yet.

What Does This Mean for PC Builders and Gamers?

If AMD officially launches the RX 7300, it will provide a much-needed budget-friendly option for users who want to upgrade from integrated graphics or older GPUs. Its low power requirements and decent performance could make it a popular choice for office PCs, home theaters, and casual gamers.

Final Thoughts

The inclusion of the Radeon RX 7300 in AIDA64’s database is a strong sign that AMD hasn’t abandoned its plans for entry-level RDNA 3 GPUs. Whether it will be a retail product or an OEM-exclusive remains to be seen, but the buzz is real. For those looking to build or upgrade a PC on a budget, the RX 7300 could soon be a game-changer.
