The Necromancer Aurabot support PoE build is a rather unique one in Path of Exile, and here is what you need to know.
Many players will have a focus on garnering as much PoE currency as possible when playing the popular ARPG. Others will be looking at how the PoE trade marketplace works or doing battle with the most difficult of enemies. To make the most of what Path of Exile has to offer, you will want to focus on your character’s Path of Exile build.
With that in mind, one option that you do have is the Necromancer Aurabot support build. What makes this one particularly unique compared to a lot more common PoE builds is how many changes it has had. Even though it stands alongside many other Path of Exile builds that have been in the game a long time, there has been a lot of changes to this build. Many patches that have been and gone, including the likes of the updates from Delirium and Harvest, have made alterations to this setup.
If you are playing with friends, then this is a great PoE build. The Necro Aurabot support is a very handy build to have when you are playing in a group or with your friends. What’s more, out of the group-builds that are available, it is one of the easiest for you to use.
It also has a very tank-like feel to it. You’ll find that it has a high resistance to elemental damage, and can get through dodges and spell doge pretty easily.
The downside of it being great with groups is that it cannot be used on its own. It is rather straightforward to use, but it isn’t the most fun to use when compared with others either.
To start with, Alpha’s Howl is great for evasion stats, and to prevent freezing. For your amulet, check out the Presence of Chayula, which stops you from being stunned, and offers decent chaos resistance. Increase your energy shield and resistances with Shavronne’s Wrappings, and it’s recommended that you have rare Sorcerer Gloves too.
You can further increase your evasion and energy shield by wearing Sin Trek boots. Meanwhile, the Bated Breath belt gives you increased damage, and Lori’s Lantern ring will help evasion as well. Finally, the best weapon is arguably Ephemeral Edge, which gives you increase intelligence, physical damage, and energy shield.
How the PoE Build Plays
As far as support PoE builds go, this might be a harder one to use. The role of the Aurabot is something that involves taking charge of looting, something that plays a prominent part in the game. This means that you need to be one step ahead and alert to the amount of loot there is. You are also the most reliable source of damage out of your group as well which is something to take note of.
Also, your character will have the most aura effect scaling. Those who use a Quartz Flask is going to be Dodge capped too, which is an overpowered feature in itself. This is because whenever an attack or spell hit is registered, it will refer to the relevant dodge chance. This effectively means that 75% of all damage that comes in will be dodged since it happens before other mitigations. So, when combining the likes of the Vaal Grace with the relevant Aura Effect, your group is going to be hard to damage.
You will still want to make sure that you have the best possible PoE Orbs and PoE Uniques to garner PoE Currency to make the most of your PoE build. But if you are playing in a group, then this is certainly something that you should consider as a Path of Exile build. By using this build, you will be assured that you and your friends are taking as little damage as possible.
