Poco X3 NFC goes official with Snapdragon 732G

Poco has finally launched the much-awaited Poco X3 and it has so the company is calling it Poco X3 NFC. Poco has been teasing the X3 for the last few days as a contender to OnePlus’ Nord and its an official successor to the Poco X2 which was launched back in Feb this year.

The Poco X3 sports a 6.67” Full HD+ LCD panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 240Hz touch sampling rate with a punch-hole cutout in the top center which houses the 20MP sensor for selfies. The display has HDR 10 certification and it even has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 732G which is an upgrade to last year’s Snapdragon 730G and it is coupled with Adreno 618 GPU along with 6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. Further, it is being backed up by a 5,160 mAh battery which can be charged over the USB C port at 33W and it even retains the 3.5mm audio jack apart from the dual stereo speakers.

The X3 NFC gets a quad-camera setup at the back which consists a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor with an f/1.73” aperture lens, a 13 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119-degree field of view along with two 2 MP sensor with f/2.4″ aperture lens where one of them is functioning as a depth sensor while other one serves the purpose of a macro lens. The camera app gets some nifty features like Skyscraping 3.0, Night Mode, and ShootSteady video which can stabilize any video using AI.

The phone gets basic connectivity features including Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, IR blaster, and a hybrid dual sim slot which can be used to put a microSD card of up to 256GB in your phone and as it has “NFC” which can be understood from its name. Also, it has a fingerprint sensor that doubles up as the power key. Further, The Poco X3 NFC uses a heat dissipation technology dubbed as LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus which uses a copper heat pipe and a graphite sheet to cool down the phone. The phone even has an IP53 certification which makes it splash-proof.

The X3 NFC comes in two color options – Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue and it’s available in two memory configurations of 6/64GB and 6/128GB. The base variant costs €229 while the higher storage variant can be purchased for €269 starting 8 Sep 2020. There is even an early bird offer during which the phone can be purchased starting at €199 for the 64GB variant and the 128GB one will be available for €249 during this offer.
