PSG forward Neymar tests positive for COVID-19 after Paredes and Di Maria

Paris Saint Germain went all the way to the Champions League final on 23rd August but unfortunately, they lost to Bayern Munich.

After the Champions League ‘Final Eight’ tournament the PSG players went on vacation. Many players went to Ibiza (Spain), where the virus is actively circulating at the moment

Now, L’Équipe report that Neymar has become the 3rd member of PSG’s 1st team squad to test positive for COVID-19. Earlier, Leandro Paredes and Angel di Maria has already tested positive.

All three individuals contracted the virus whilst in Ibiza. Neymar, Paredes and Di Maria will observe a one-week quarantine.

The next PSG match is scheduled on 10th September against Lens, in a late match for the second day of Ligue 1.
