LaLiga have given permission to players to return to individual training

The Coronavirus pandemic had forced all the football leagues to be suspended. Now it seems the sky is getting clearer day by day. The Bundesliga are aiming to restart next month. Spain has also followed the same path and has given the go-ahead to LaLiga clubs to start individual training from next week.

The Spanish government have removed the lockdown restrictions which were put in place to cope with the Coronavirus pandemic. Spanish Prime minister Pedro Sanchez announced at a press conference on Tuesday that the players can return to individual training from next week.

Pedro Sanchez said: “Individual training for professional and federation sportsmen and women and basic training for professional leagues will be permitted from May 4.”

This is big news for the LaLiga fans worldwide as life without football is like bread without butter. There is now hope that LaLiga can finish the 2019-20 season unlike Ligue 1, which has been ended abruptly.

The Prime Minister has also announced 4 phases. These phases will help to return to a “new normality.”

Phase 0: Basic training for professional athletes

Phase 1: Medium training and opening of high-performance centres

Phase 2: Authorisation of outdoor activities with less than 400 attendees

Phase 3: Return to the ‘new standard’, with no specific references to sport

Each phase will last for 2 weeks.

It’s still not clear when LaLiga will resume but things are beginning to brighten up and go in the right direction. Let’s hope the 2019-20 LaLiga season can be finished normally.
