120 Bahadur Teaser: Farhan Akhtar’s Powerful Tribute to War Hero Major Shaitan Singh

The much-awaited teaser of “120 Bahadur” starring Farhan Akhtar as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati has finally been released, showcasing a gripping tribute to the Param Vir Chakra recipient’s heroism. This upcoming war epic promises to bring one of India’s most inspiring military stories to the big screen, with a theatrical release scheduled for November 21, 2025.

120 Bahadur Farhan Akhtar’s Stunning Transformation

The teaser reveals Farhan Akhtar’s remarkable physical and emotional transformation into the legendary war hero. Shot in -10 degrees temperature at 14,000 feet high in Ladakh’s real terrain, the film captures the authentic harsh conditions that Major Shaitan Singh and his men faced during the 1962 Indo-China War.

Akhtar’s portrayal promises to honor the memory of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC (1 December 1924 – 18 November 1962), who was an Indian Army officer and recipient of India’s highest military decoration, the Param Vir Chakra.

The Historic Battle of Rezang La

The film centers around one of the most heroic last stands in modern warfare. Major Shaitan Singh was commanding a company at Rezang La in the Chushul sector at a height of about 17,000 feet, in an isolated locality consisting of five platoon-defended positions.

When Chinese soldiers attacked his platoons on November 18, 1962, he moved from one post to another to sustain the morale of his troops, ultimately leading to a battle where 120 Indian soldiers fought to the end and wiped out over 1,000 Chinese troops.
