YouTube is getting ready to release a cool new app called YouTube Create. This app will let people edit videos right from their phones, making it easier to create videos for Shorts, which is YouTube’s version of TikTok. Everything about the YouTube Create

YouTube’s decision to introduce a dedicated app closely follows the playbook of TikTok, which saw tremendous success with its standalone CapCut app. CapCut has proven invaluable for users seeking to craft videos that can be seamlessly shared across various social media platforms.

According to YouTube’s official statement in a blog post, “The [YouTube Create] app offers video editing tools including precision editing and trimming, automatic captioning, voiceover capabilities and access to a library of filters, effects, transitions and royalty-free music with beat matching technology so that creators can produce their next YouTube video without relying on complex editing software.”

The YouTube Create app will be offered as a free download, initially rolling out in beta form exclusively for Android users in select markets. The app will be released in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Indonesia, India, Korea, and Singapore. A spokesperson named Kimberly Taylor, who speaks for YouTube, has said they’ll make the app work on iPhones and iPads next year.

This exciting news was shared during YouTube’s big event called “Made on YouTube.” During this event, YouTube showed many cool features that use AI. Among these innovations is the “Dream Screen” tool, designed to effortlessly generate AI-generated backgrounds tailored for Shorts. Also, YouTube brought in AI technology to suggest what kind of videos people can make. This helps people all over the world create even better content.
