The Full Rundown

1. Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi — ZEE5 | March 13

Cast: Ravi Teja, Ashika Ranganath, Dimple Hayathi, Sunil, Vennela Kishore | Director: Kishore Tirumala

Ravi Teja plays Ram Satyanarayana, a charming vineyard owner who travels to Spain on business and ends up juggling two women — his wife back home and a Spanish company owner who falls head over heels for him. It’s the classic comedic chaos Ravi Teja fans adore, packed with humour, mistaken identities, and the all-important question: how long can Ram keep this going? If you enjoy breezy Telugu rom-coms with a sparkling ensemble cast, this one’s tailor-made for your weekend.

2. Made in Korea — Netflix | March 12

Cast: Priyanka Arul Mohan, Hye-jin, No Ho-jin, Rishikanth | Director: Ra. Karthik

This one has genuine heart. Shenbagam — or Shenba — is a small-town Tamil girl who has been obsessed with Korean culture since childhood. When she finally lands in Seoul, the city is both exactly what she imagined and nothing like it. The film blends cultural discovery, personal resilience, and quiet self-discovery in a way that feels fresh and deeply relatable. Priyanka Arul Mohan brings real warmth to the role. Worth every minute.

3. Nawab Cafe — ETVWin | March 12

Cast: Shiva Kandukuri, Rajeev Kanakala, Teju Ashwini | Director: Pramod Harsha

A humble tea seller’s world gets upended when ambition drags him far beyond his comfort zone. As success inches closer, staying honest gets harder. It’s a grounded, relatable story about the price of chasing more — told through the lens of everyday Telugu life.

4. Lockdown — Amazon Prime Video | March 11

Cast: Anupama Parameswaran, Charle, Livingston | Director: AR Jeeva

This is the most intense entry on this week’s list. Anitha, a young Tamil woman, harbours a deep dread of going home — and when a nationwide lockdown forces her back, every day becomes a haunting ordeal. Her erratic behaviour worries her parents while hinting at something darker beneath the surface. Anupama Parameswaran is compelling in a role that demands real emotional depth. Stream this when you’re in the mood for something that lingers with you.

5. Pookie — ZEE5 | March 13

Cast: Ajay Dhishan, RK Dhanusha, Pandiarajan, Yogi Babu | Director: Ganesh Chandra

Six years into a relationship, Kailash and Aazhi have one bad night — and suddenly the words “let’s break up” are spoken out loud. What happens next is a chain of events that neither expected. A refreshingly honest take on modern Tamil relationships and what it actually means to hold on.

6. Funky — Netflix | March 13

Cast: Vishwak Sen, Kayadu Lohar, Naresh, Easwari Rao | Director: KV Anudeep

Komal dreams of directing his debut film called Funky — but the budget spirals, the producer has a health scare, and suddenly he’s off the project. As Chitra steps in to save the film, she and Komal also end up falling for each other. It’s a fun, self-aware comedy about the messy business of making movies, with Vishwak Sen doing what he does best.

7. Couple Friendly — Amazon Prime Video | March 13

Cast: Santosh Sobhan, Manasa Varanasi, Rajeev Kanakala, Yogi Babu | Director: Ashwin Chandrasekar

Two strangers — a struggling interior designer and a young IT professional — meet in a new city and fall for each other. But when only one of them gets their big career break, the relationship faces a strain that neither saw coming. A warm, realistic romance for anyone who’s ever navigated love alongside ambition.

South Indian OTT platforms have been consistently delivering diverse, quality content each week — and this lineup is no exception. Whether you’re in the mood for laughs, tears, or something that makes you think, there’s a film waiting for you right now. Catch all the latest OTT and entertainment updates on TechnoSports.
