Xiaomi Watch Color 2 launched with 1.43″ AMOLED screen and 117 sports modes

Xiaomi held a launch event today where it released the Civi smartphone, apart from that it launched the Watch Color 2 as well. The Xiaomi Watch Color 2 has an exquisite appearance, super third-party app support, and long battery life.

The new Xiaomi Watch Color 2 sports a 1.43″ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The display has a 326ppi, this is the exact same as its competitor, the Amazfit GTR 2e. The Watch Color offers blood oxygen testing, 24-hour heart rate, and sleep monitoring.

Xiaomi will sell the Watch Color 2 with three color options for its frame, and six for the strap, there is support for third-party apps as well as for Bluetooth calls, Xiaomi has equipped the Watch Color 2 with a 470mAh battery as well.

The wearable delivers 12 days of battery life with normal usage, this is just 1mAh lesser than the Amazfit GTR 2e.

Other features of the Xiaomi Watch Color 2 include the amazing 117 sports modes it has, dual-frequency GPS, and 5 ATM waterproofing.

Xiaomi Watch Color 2 bears a CNY 999 MSRP. That roughly translates to $155 or 11,448 INR. Pre-orders begin today, while sales start on September 30th.
