Xiaomi’s Redmi K50 Series has been in the news a couple of times in the last few months as the company is giving us hints of the specs of the phone occasionally. There have been leaks that have revealed almost everything about the device, but today let us look at the latest teasers from the company.
Xiaomi‘s teaser post revealed that the K50 Series will be the first to support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, with improved latency, power consumption, and range. The device also uses the LC3 audio codec for future-proofing. The codec works under the Bluetooth 5.2 standard and higher, which leads to improved audio streaming quality.
In addition to these connectivity features, the handsets will carry dual-frequency GPS and an IR blaster which will act as substitutes for your remote controls. The IR blaster is nothing new as it is a regular on most Xiaomi devices.
The Redmi K50 lineup will be launching on the 17th of March. The K50 Pro+ in the series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip while the K50 Pro will carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip.
