Xiaomi Pad 5 and Xiaomi 12 Pro to launch on 27th April in India

Xiaomi is prepping to launch its highly anticipated flagship handset, the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The top-tier smartphone is not the only noteworthy launch that will take place on the 27th of April as the company is expected to announce the Xiaomi Pad 5 as well.

As per a report from 91Mobiles, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed that the Chinese tech giant will be launching the Pad 5 in the Indian markets on the 27th of April. Xiaomi has been teasing the announcement of multiple new products for the Indian market, however, it has not yet revealed any official names of the upcoming gadgets.

Xiaomi had originally unveiled the Pad 5 in August 2021 along with the Pad 5 Pro in China. The Pad 5 will be the first tablet to launch in India in a while. The tab has a Snapdragon 680 chip with 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It runs on Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 on top. In terms of battery life, it has an 8,720mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

On the rear, it has a 13MP sensor, while the front shooter is an 8MP selfie shooter. The device has an 11″ WQXGA display with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Apart from this, it has Dolby Vision, HDR10, TrueTone True Color display, and the TUV Rheinland low light blue light certification.
