Xiaomi is getting ready to introduce the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in China after revealing details about the phone’s processor. They have also given a sneak peek of the smartphone’s design and color options teasing some features it will come with. It seems like the phone will draw inspiration from Xiaomi flagship models like the Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The official launch date for this model has been announced by the manufacturer.
The Upcoming Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro
As per a Weibo post from Xiaomi, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is scheduled to launch in China on March 21 at 2 p.m. Time (11:30 a.m. IST). The phone is said to offer “Pro Performance, Pro Imaging, and Pro Design.” Additionally, it is hinted that there will be four color choices for this model with three names already confirmed: Breeze Blue, Soft Mist Pink, and Spring Field Green.
The Spring Field Green version of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is said to be inspired by the spring-themed artworks of French impressionist painter Oscar Claude Monet. This specific variant will feature a panel made of a mix of glass and faux leather. Xiaomi’s latest hint implies that the upcoming Civi 4 Pro will feature the leather material found in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model as well as a curved display similar to that of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Moreover, it is set to introduce a frame.
The Chinese tech giant asserts that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be both lightweight and slim due to the “precise stacking of advanced technology.” The device is purported to weigh 179.3 grams and measure 7.45mm in thickness. It has already been confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
Recently a Xiaomi model bearing the designation 24053PY09I, anticipated to launch in India under the moniker Xiaomi 14 Lite, surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification platform. This same model was speculated to debut in China as the Xiaomi Civi 4. While the company has yet to officially confirm the standard Civi 4 model, there is speculation that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro could be introduced in India as the rumored Xiaomi 14 Lite.
