Xiaomi 15 Pro is expected to have a 5,400 mAh battery with 100W fast-charging support

It has been suggested that the Xiaomi 15 Pro would include a silicon negative electrode battery, based on a post by tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) on the Chinese social networking site Weibo. An impressive improvement over the 4,800mAh battery featured in its predecessor, a 5,400mAh battery is rumored to be included.

Support for 100W wired fast charging is also a new feature for the smartphone. It previously supported up to 120W charging, thus if this is accurate, it is a downgrade. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is supposed to enhance smartphone quick charging using wireless means. It might be compatible with 100W wireless fast charging, which would be twice as quick as the Xiaomi 14 Pro, according to the advice source.

Along with this, the tipster states that Xiaomi is testing a 120W wired fast charging solution, but that the company has not been able to address thermal problems associated with a “temperature rise problem.”

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm will probably be included in the Xiaomi 15 Pro. TSMC will produce the new chipset, which will be built on the 2nd generation 3nm process node (N3E).

An OV50K primary camera, an IMX882 telephoto unit with a 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens are rumored to be included in the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Instead of using a traditional optical fingerprint sensor, the phone is anticipated to use an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone, which is a member of the Xiaomi 15 series, is anticipated to arrive in the upcoming months.
