Xiaomi 11T to be released as the Redmi K40s in China

According to a reliable Weibo tipster, Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its 11T smartphone as Redmi K40s in China with one significant upgrade, a considerably faster-charging capability.

The 3C certification confirms this.

As you can see, the device is codenamed K16 will support 33W, 67W, and 120W charging speeds.

The same MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset will be powering up the handset and the same flat, 6.67″ OLED display panel with a high refresh rate of 120Hz will sit on the front.

Aside from the charging, the K40s is supposed to get Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers like the international 11T Pro.

Another interesting but about the report is that Xiaomi is readying a third member of the K40 family to slot between the K40s and the K40 Pro+, given that the latter is the 11T Pro for the international market.

The ‘midrange device’ in the series is going to be a brand new device running on the Snapdragon 870 SoC.
