World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1 officially launched on March 17, 2026, two weeks after the expansion itself went live on March 2. The first season of the second Worldsoul Saga chapter brings a fully staggered content rollout spanning raids, dungeons, Delves, and PvP — and it kicks off alongside the 2026 WoW Charity Pet Program benefiting Habitat for Humanity.

Roofus and the 2026 Charity Pet Program

Alongside the season launch, Blizzard has introduced Roofus — an eager construction-themed handypup available on both Midnight and WoW Classic progression servers. Available in the Roofus Pack for $32 AUD (or local equivalent) from the in-game or Battle.net shop, the bundle includes Roofus himself plus Midnight-exclusive housing items: a dog house in four styles with a dyeable floor, a dog bowl, and two dog bed variants.

The real reason to pick it up? 100% of the purchase price goes directly to Habitat for Humanity — after chargebacks, refunds, transaction fees, and applicable VAT. The charity window runs until 04:00 a.m. AEST on May 13, 2026, so there’s time, but not unlimited time.

What Season 1 Actually Means for Players

Midnight Season 1 is structured differently from recent expansions. Rather than a single raid opening day one, Blizzard is rolling out three separate raids across nearly three weeks — The Voidspire, Dreamrift, and finally March on Quel’Danas. This pacing is intentional: it gives raid guilds time to gear through Heroic before Mythic opens, and keeps the Race to World First building suspense through late March rather than being settled in 48 hours.

Mythic+ returns with a new dungeon pool mixing four new Midnight dungeons — Magister’s Terrace, Maisara Caverns, Nexus-Point Xenas, and Windrunner Spire — alongside four returning classics from Legion, Warlords of Draenor, and Wrath of the Lich King. Twelve new Delves launch with fan-favourite Valeera Sanguinar as the new companion, and PvP enthusiasts get the new 40v40 Slayer’s Rise battleground on top of the standard rated season.
