All Wolverine Variants Who have Featured in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie

In the latest addition to the Deadpool franchise, Deadpool and Wolverine, now showing in theaters, comic book enthusiasts are treated to an array of Wolverine variants. Here’s a rundown of the various Wolverines featured in the film:

All Wolverine Variants Who have Featured in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie

Logan

Because Deadpool is so desperate to find a compatible mate, he recruits the Wolverine from 20th Century Fox‘s X-Men movies who died in Logan (2017) after saving X-23. Of course, Deadpool would muck it up and revive Wolverine but instead gives him a Viking funeral leaving only his adamantium skeleton to battle against the TVA.

Brown & Yellow Wolverine

Briefly appearing in his iconic brown and yellow costume, this Wolverine pays homage to his original comic book appearance. However, his encounter with Deadpool is cut short by the Incredible Hulk.

Cavillrine

A highly anticipated variant, Cavillrine, features Henry Cavill as a Wolverine with adamantium claws. This crossover between DC and Marvel shows Cavill’s Wolverine aggressively confronting Deadpool.

Comic Accurate Wolverine

Interestingly enough, Deadpool discovers a comic book-accurate Wolverine — who is short and stocky at only 5’3″. This look is far different from the one Hugh Jackman portrayed in all those films that had an actor much taller. This version is the most faithful representation of Wolverine from the comics.

Old Man Logan

One more Wolverine variant Deadpool runs into is Old Man Logan from Earth-807128, an older and lonesome version Even though he wants to be left alone, Old Man Logan shoots Deadpool the second they make eye contact.

Uncanny X-Men #251: Crucified Wolverine

In another scene, Deadpool goes to a timeline that features Wolvie framed in a giant X on what looks like the cover of Uncanny X-Men #251. In this scene, Wolverine is being tortured by anti-mutant extremists while hallucinating past events.

Weapon X

The variant of Wolverine is battle-worn, missing a hand, and comes from an alternative storyline. We see Wolverine – who was once an ally with Magneto – fight against Cyclops, marry Jean Grey, and later on become Weapon Omega all before he’s slayed by Jean.

Patch

Patch was a secret identity of Wolverine with an eye patch & formal attire. Taking up this mantle in order to break into Madripoor and investigate a crime ring by living among the rich is what leads him.

The Worst Wolverine

Finally, Deadpool meets a Wolverine variant deemed the worst of all, responsible for the destruction of his own timeline, as revealed by Mr. Paradox.
